About the Author

tl;dr: I’m an indie author of queer focused novellas.

Janvier Olszon is a nonbinary (they/them, he/him) bisexual weirdo who lives in Atlanta, GA with their two cats. Janvier is a creature of the night who's fascinated by dark things in general: vampires, gothic culture, so many obscure metal subgenres, dark wave, industrial, piercings, tattoos, and the Moon and stars. They can often be found traipsing through the woods along a creek or river.

Janvier writes wholesome-ish speculative romance and queer fiction in the form of novellas and short stories. Their characters include metal musicians (and fans), urban vampires, and lovable ghosts. Their work centers nonbinary, trans, and/or queer protagonists finding deep connection, sometimes in strange and surreal worlds.
